Collecting Butterflies is a one of a kind, fairytale/storybook style, anthropomorphic, fiber art/needle felted sculpture featuring a large lemur collecting butterflies in a field in front of a wooden fence. There are tiny ladybugs on the fence posts, and a snail crawling through the grass and flowers. The Lemur's boots, gloves and nose are hand sculpted from clay and his net features a wood dowel with clay attachments.
